Coaching Centres

Our coaching centres based throughout Derbyshire offer children of Primary School age the opportunity to participate in structured football coaching programmes in a fun and safe environment.

Coaches delivering at the centres put young participants through their paces as they develop their core football skills including passing, shooting, dribbling, running with the ball and control. The participants then get a chance to showcase their skills during the small sided games played at the end of the season designed to give each child as much involvement and time on the ball as possible.

The coaching programme is delivered over a ten week period with 3 terms of coaching delivered each academic year. The cost of Coaching Centre sessions is £30 per 10 week block. As with our weekend club and holiday programme pre booking is required.

We have carefully planned our coaching centre locations to create more accessible opportunities to the wider community. We currently hold the following Coaching Centres:

- Mini Kickers (Reception - Year 3) - Mondays 4.30-5.30 - Power League, Pride Park
- Derby High (Reception - Year 6) - Thursday 6.00-7.00 - Derby High School, Littleover
- Lees Brook (Reception - Year 6) - Thursday 4.30-5.30 - Lees Brook CSC, Chaddesden
- Alfreton (Reception - Year 6) - Mondays 5.00-6.00 - Alfreton Leisure Centre
- Ripley (Reception - Year 6) - Monday 5.00-6.00 - Ripley Leisure Centre
- William Gregg (Reception - Year 6) - Fridays 5.00-6.00 - William Gregg VC Leisure Centre
- Shot Stoppers GK (Reception - Year 6) - Dates and Venues TBC
