Weekend Club

In conjunction with Power League (formerly JJB Soccer Dome), Derby County in the Community offer weekend football coaching sessions for both girls and boys. The initiative offers children from reception age through to year six the opportunity to receive progressive football coaching in a fun and relaxed environment.

Operating throughout the year, the sessions run from 9.00am through to 10.30 am and also 11.0am through to 12.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Children are assigned to a designated pitch along with children from the same academic year in order to receive coaching aimed specifically at their age group. Core football skills are delivered over an 8-week period to encompass all the basic elements including passing, control, shooting and dribbling.

Prices are £4.50 per session on both Saturday and Sunday. Payment is required one calendar month in advance. Pre-booking is required.

Pre-reception Children

Kick Start Football Sessions for Pre-reception Children at Power League (formerly JJB Soccer Dome) on Pride Park have been specifically developed to offer pre-reception aged children (beginning reception in Sept ’08) the opportunity to participate in fun coaching sessions in a safe environment with the security of their parent assisting their learning. The sessions are specifically tailored to the needs of the age range whilst following the themes of our main Weekend Club.

Prices are £3.50 per session on both Saturday and Sunday. Payment is required one calendar month in advance. Pre-booking is required.
