Merrill College One Game, One Community Poster Competition

As part of this years One Game, One Community Week of Action, Derby County in the Community teamed up with Derbyshire Fa and Merrill College to run a poster and poetry competition. Lessons were delivered to pupils at the college based around equal opportunitties and discrimination after which the children were tasked with coming up with though provoking posters and poems to highlight the key issues raised.

The winning entrants were chosen by staff at the college along with Richard Astle, DCITC Inclusion Manager and Angie Harper, DFA Football Development Officer. All participants won a One Game, One Community badge or wristband with the winners recieveing family tickets to the Rams V Portsmouth home game on Saturday 29th October.
