The scheme is very reactive and suffers from a lack of vision and strategy. The scheme works in isolation and suffers from a lack of key partnerships

2001 Scheme undergoes restructuring to support ongoing development of community activities

2003 Scheme has successful year and is working profitably. The scheme is delivering a number of emerging programmes that show a new diversity of delivery and high quality of provision and organisation

2003 Derby County Football in the Community enters into numerous partnerships with key agencies to ensure that it meets local, regional and national needs and agendas.

2005 Derby County Football in the Community has annual turnover of £250,000 and is model of good practice nationwide

2008 Derby County in the Community has 24 full-time staff and has an annual turnover in excess of £550,000 involving over 30,000 children
